Building pathways to learning, livelihoods, and creative practice

Founded by the late Anup Nair in 2005, Incentive Foundation is a grassroots organisation working in semi-rural India to address structural barriers to access and opportunity. Our work centres on women’s livelihoods, youth development, and creative practice, anchored in the belief that meaningful empowerment begins with access, agency, and sustained support.

My internship has been deeply enriching - from organising collection drives and engaging in community outreach to conducting centre visits and understanding grassroots realities. Along the way, I gained socio-cultural insights and built skills in documentation and social media using Canva.
